Die Double Vibedrum hat
9 Klangfelder auf jeder Seite. Für einen möglichst großen Kontrast wird eine
Seite in einer hohen und die andere Seite in einer tiefen Tonskala gestimmt. Du
kannst dir die zwei Tonskalen aus mehreren Möglichkeiten selbst zusammenstellen
und erhältst praktisch zwei Drums in einem Instrument.

We
use a powder coat paint but not just any powder we use an exotic 2 part/coat
system that creates a hard finish with a long lasting shine.
We
are concerned about the environment which is why we use Powder Coat because it
is
MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY
FRIENDLY than
etching
or engraving patterns into the steel with
Hazardous
Chemicals
or
spraying
with paints that contain
VOC’s
(volatile organic compounds).
We also use stainless steel instead of the normal low carbon steel which may contain traces of lead.

VibeDrum is handcrafted in Arizona – Hand Tuned to Concert tuning standards and tested for sound quality before it is shipped

On the playing head which improves sound, sustain,
resonance and overall durability over the thinner 14 gauge low carbon
steel used to make other drums of this type. Plus you don’t have to worry
about rust forming on the inside of the drum!
In addition you don’t have to worry about lead content which may be present in low carbon steel

Die hochwertige 2-Schicht
Pulver-Lackierung ist kratzfester als normale Sprühlacke und die
außergewöhnlichen Farben glänzen und schimmern in verschiedenen Farbtönen,
je nach Lichteinfall.
Beim neuen Modell wurde
der Resonanzraum vergrößert, der Klang verbessert.
Die Klangfelder liegen
nun etwas weiter auseinander – die Drum ist dadurch noch leichter zu
spielen.

 Voller Klang, wiegt aber nur 3,4 Kilo und ist leicht zu

Dieses außergewöhnliche Instrument mit seinem
melodischen Klang begeistert sowohl Anfänger als auch Profis. Der Sound ist
ähnlich einer Klangschale oder Handpan. Durch verschiedene Spieltechniken kann
eine breite Palette von harmonischen Klängen erzeugt werden. Das Spielen mit
den Fingern verbindet intensiv mit dem Instrument, wie man es auch von den
traditionellen Handtrommeln kennt. Beim Spielen mit den speziell designten
Schlegeln offenbart sich der pure Klang jeder Note.
Durch das einzigartige Design ist die Vibedrum leichter und kleiner als
vergleichbare,
ähnliche Drums und bietet
ein größeres Tonspektrum. Die 18 Töne der Double Vibedrum sind pentatonisch
gestimmt und in verschiedenen Tonskalen in Dur oder Moll erhältlich. Durch die
logische Anordnung der Klangfelder ist die Vibedrum auch ohne langes Üben
besonders einfach zu spielen.
The
Notes
Shape: We chose an Octagonal shape (patent pending) for
our notes, even though it is much more costly to cut, for Three basic reasons.
The first is because in our opinion they just look better than the big
rectangles or simple curved lines. The second is it focuses your attention on
the “Sweet Spot” of the note which increases playability. Third
because of the symbolism associated with the octagon ( 8 steps to
enlightenment, 8 fold path, etc)
Spacing: The spacing of the notes is important. If you
have a lot of notes jammed in very close to each other when you strike one note
it will partially activate the notes next to it, which causes a certain amount
of harmonic distortion and interference. Our unique octagonal shape allows us
to fit in 9 notes while still allowing plenty of space horizontally and vertically
between them.
Die Vibedrums gibt es
seit 2008 und das Design hat sich über die Jahre weiter entwickelt. Der schöne
Klang war uns immer am Wichtigsten aber auch, dass die Drums leicht zu
transportieren sind. Alle Vibedrums
werden händisch gefertigt und mit viel Gefühl gestimmt. Die
Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Vibedrums sind vielfältig: Als Musikinstrument aber
immer öfter auch für Energiearbeit und Therapiezwecke.
